Spice Island Car Rentals is committed to making your vehicle pickup and return as convenient as possible. This Delivery Policy outlines our pickup and drop-off procedures, service areas, and scheduling requirements.
Vehicle Pickup Service
Complimentary Airport Pickup
- Free pickup service is included for all customers arriving at Maurice Bishop International Airport
- This service is available for all rental durations (daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term)
- No additional fees or charges for airport pickup
Pickup Service Areas
Free Delivery Zones
Vehicle delivery and pickup is provided at no additional charge in the following parishes:
- St. George Parish
- St. David Parish
Delivery locations within these parishes include (but are not limited to):
- Maurice Bishop International Airport
- St. George’s (capital city)
- Grand Anse Beach area
- Hotels and resorts in St. George and St. David
- Private residences and vacation rentals
- Grenada cruise ship terminal
Other Locations
- Delivery to parishes outside St. George and St. David may be available upon request
- Additional delivery fees may apply for locations outside our free delivery zones

Pickup Scheduling and Requirements
Advance Notice
- 48 hours advance notice is required for all vehicle pickups
- This allows us to:
- Ensure your vehicle is fully prepared and inspected
- Confirm your temporary driver’s license (if applicable)
- Coordinate arrival timing at the airport or your location
- Arrange appropriate staffing for your pickup
Operating Hours
- Vehicle pickup and drop-off service is available daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- All pickups must be scheduled within these hours
- Outside-hours pickup may be available on a case-by-case basis (see After-Hours Service below)
Reservation Confirmation
When you make a reservation, we will:
- Send you a confirmation email with your booking details
- Call you within 24 hours to finalize:
- Exact pickup time and location
- Payment details and total cost
- Required documentation
- Any special requests or questions
Airport Pickup Procedure
For Customers Arriving at Maurice Bishop International Airport
Before Your Arrival:
- Provide us with your flight details (airline, flight number, arrival time) at least 48 hours in advance
- Include your phone number (including WhatsApp if available) for easy communication
- We will confirm your pickup time via email and phone
Upon Arrival:
- After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, proceed to the arrivals area

- Our representative will meet you at a designated meeting point (confirmed during booking)
- Look for our Spice Island Car Rentals representative with clear signage
At Pickup:
- Complete rental paperwork and payment
- Obtain your temporary driver’s license (if required)
- Receive vehicle orientation and instructions
- Receive 24/7 roadside assistance contact information
- Drive away and enjoy exploring Grenada
Flight Delays
We understand that flight delays are a common occurrence and are beyond your control.
If Your Flight Is Delayed:
- Contact us as soon as you become aware of the delay

- We will monitor your flight status when provided with flight details
- We will adjust our pickup time to accommodate your delayed arrival

Non-Airport Pickup Locations
Hotel or Resort Delivery
- We can deliver your vehicle directly to your hotel or resort in St. George or St. David parishes
- Delivery is complimentary within these areas
- Please provide the exact name and address of your accommodation
- We will coordinate with you to arrange a convenient delivery time
Private Residence or Vacation Rental
- Delivery to private homes or vacation rentals is available in St. George and St. David at no extra charge
- Please provide the complete address and any special directions
- If the property is difficult to locate, please include GPS coordinates or detailed landmarks
Alternative Pickup Locations
- You may arrange to pick up your vehicle at a mutually agreed-upon location
- Popular meeting points include:
- Grand Anse Shopping Center
- St. George’s town center
- Specific landmarks or businesses
- Please discuss your preferred location when making your reservation
Vehicle Return Service
Drop-Off Locations
Vehicle returns follow the same service areas as pickup:
- Free return service within St. George and St. David parishes
- Returns can be made at Maurice Bishop International Airport at no additional charge
- Return to your hotel, resort, or residence is available
Return Scheduling
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice of your intended return time
- This ensures we can:
- Schedule a representative to meet you
- Inspect the vehicle promptly
- Process your damage deposit refund efficiently
Return Hours
- Vehicle returns are accepted daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Please schedule your return within these operating hours
- After-hours returns may be arranged on a case-by-case basis
Return Procedure
- Contact us 24 hours before your planned return
- Confirm the exact time and location for drop-off
- Return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel (or as specified in your rental agreement)
- Our representative will:
- Inspect the vehicle with you present
- Check fuel level and overall condition
- Provide you with a return receipt
- Process your damage deposit refund (within 7-10 business days)
After-Hours Service
Outside Operating Hours (Before 9 AM or After 9 PM)
- After-hours pickup or drop-off may be available on a case-by-case basis
- This is subject to staff availability and specific circumstances
- Please contact us as early as possible to discuss after-hours arrangements
When After-Hours Service May Be Approved:
- Late-night or early-morning flight arrivals/departures
- Emergency situations
- Special circumstances that prevent standard-hours service

- Valid driver’s license (from your country of residence)
- Passport or valid government-issued photo ID
- Payment for balance due (cash or credit card)
- Proof of temporary license (if you have already obtained one)
- Reservation confirmation (email or booking reference number)
Temporary Driver’s License
- Required for all non-OECS (Organization of Eastern Caribbean States) license holders
- Cost: $24.00 USD (mandatory, government-issued, non-refundable)
- Valid for 3 months
- We can assist with obtaining this license at pickup
